KEYS TO SUCCESS


- Discovering one’s purpose.
- Bringing the purpose into reality and making it big.
- Do not copy, you are born original, do not fake who you are, believe in your own abilities, this can get you through any darkness.
- Repetition, make sure you always repeat the right thing, a scholar once said (I am not afraid of a man who has practiced ten thousand cakes once, I am afraid of a man who has practiced one cake ten thousand times).
- Pure heart, have a pure heart, do not think bad or evil of anyone, stop envying, God is working on your success as well, as long as you don’t fold your arms and keep shut.
- Laugh always, laughter is a beautifier, be joyous, be happy, these things are beautifiers and they make one look younger.
- Do not worry about unimportant things, they are here and they will definitely go. Just keep being you.
- Have a good support system. Be around those who want to see you succeed, those who help you in achieving your goals. Your circle does not have to be big, keep them small but, responsible.
- Expect change, it is constant. Expect it from anywhere and anyone.
- Stopping is never an option, do not stop. If no one motivates you to do more, motivate yourself.
- Know that rejection is God’s protection, if you get rejected; God hasn’t placed you to be there. Don’t be sad when you get rejected, be thankful. Something greater is coming.
- Secure your relationship with God. When you make God your bedrock by doing whatsoever He asks you to do, you discover your life will be peaceful, you will do virtually everything you do in peace. Peace will always be your manager.  Do exactly what this uncommon God has set up for you to do.

       There is this short story about a janitor at a fish factory (cold room), you know most of the times, people might just walk into a company or an establishment without reckoning the security personnel on duty, but, this story actually shook me, so to say. There was this lady who works in a cold room, any time she resumes duty in the morning, she greets the janitor, and, when she is about leaving, she does the same thing.  She does this virtually every day. Being the only worker who actually reckons with the janitor, it makes the janitor feel human as well, he feels valued as a human. So, there was this day she resumed duty, she did the same thing, made the janitor feel that same importance he had always felt, but, there was something unusual about that particular day; there was no one to say good night to him at 6 pm. He was certain something was wrong that evening because he actually got a good morning. He racked his brain for a while, and then, he decided to check all offices.

A PIECE OF ADVICE TO SINGLE PEOPLE

There are so many single persons out there who believe it is, or, it might be over for them already. Being single is not and never plagues that the society has made it look like. A question I would like to ask you as a single person is, while you are single, what are you doing? Are you just waiting with no angle to be aligned to? The description of a waiter I will make will simply be that of eateries. Waiters and waitresses at eateries. Waiters at eateries and bars basically wait to serve customers, they don’t just wait for nothing, and they serve real packages to customers. Now, the point I am driving at is, while you wait, serve. Don’t wait for nothing, you have to be in a position to be found, you need to be met halfway.  Be in alignment as you serve. As a waiter never serves customers unreal packages, as a single that is waiting as well, be real; don’t be an unreal package. You just can’t sit and expect the other person to come meet you exactly where you are, catching up with him/h

Something to hold onto as the year begins.

       The year 2020 has come to an end, and, every one of us knows where we are today against all odds. If not for anything, we thank God for life. We do not know what 2021 has in stock for us all, we all just hope for the best, but, as we hope for the best, are we working towards being the best? We all don't need to become the best in a day, but, do we have plans ahead of us? Truly, we planned for so many things in 2020, and, probably, if not all, just a few of this plan of ours came to the fore. It was even during the ups and downs of 2020 that some people realized they have opportunities in them that they never knew.      There's so much to achieve when we plan and set a goal.
